In Loachapoka, AL, we have what is called Syrup Sopping Day once a year in Autumn. There is syrup sold... but it's mostly like a flea market. This was the first time I "really" went. It was so much fun to see different artists in their trades.

I fell in love with this coke machine.
This antique quilt is stunning. This is one of my favorite patterns (and it's coming back in the style trends).
I met this wonderful lady, Esther Marshall. She spins her own wool (which her husband farms and cuts for her). A true artist and environmentalist!
Her husband makes her spinning looms for her! He is a true artist as well.
She also weaves her wool.
I saw many beautiful ceramic pieces - truly works of art.
I wanted to curl up in one of these handmade afgans!
Then we came across this amazing wood turner.
His work is amazing and beautiful.
Tents that different artists sold their works under.
A beautiful garden.
